THE general election in Ludlow and West Worcestershire in numbers.

Ludlow

Philip Dunne (Conservative) 32,185, vote share 64.1 per cent, vote change + 1.2 per cent; Heather Kidd (Liberal Democrat) 8,537, vote share 17.3 per cent, vote change +6.3 per cent; Kuldip Sohota (Labour) 7,591, vote share 15.1 per cent, vote change - 9.2 per cent; Hilary Wendt (Green Party) 1.912, vote share 3.8 per cent, vote change +1.7 per cent. Conservative Majority 23, 648. Turnout 72.3 per cent

West Worcestershire

Harriet Baldwin (Conservative) 34,909, vote share 60.7 per cent,vote change -.8 per cent; Beverley Nielson (Liberal Democrat) 10.410, vote share 19.1 per cent, vote change + 18.7 per cent; Samantha Charles (Labour), 9,496, vote share 16.5 per cent, vote change - 7.2 per cent; Martin Allen (Green Party)2,715,vote share 4.7 per cent, vote change + 1.9 per cent. Conservative Majority 24,499. Turnout 75.4 per cent.

In both Ludlow and West Worcestershire, the vote share for the winner was little changed from 2017 but the Liberal Democrat vote was significantly higher, especially in West Worcestershire. In both constituencies the Labour vote collapsed compared to the 2017 election.

The winter poll had little impact upon the turnout despite miserable weather.
