POLICE brought a stolen car heading to Worcester to a halt, following a pursuit this afternoon.
West Mercia Police's Local Policing Priority Team for the south has tweeted its officers assisted Hereford police in chasing the vehicle that was heading towards the city.

The account tweeted: "The car didn’t stop when it saw the blues and led officers on a pursuit, going off road and into a field to get away.
"Driver was quickly caught."
The police added the driver was arrested for theft of vehicle, no licence and drug driving.
A picture was also tweeted of the vehicle brought to a stop, with unmarked police cars surrounding it.
