A BELBROUGHTON curry house has fought off tough competition to win a top industry award.
Five Spice, on Stourbridge Road, has been named Best Restaurant of the Year 2019 for the West Midlands region in the Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) awards which were held at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster, on October 27.
Eleven UK regional winners were picked from hundreds of entrants - having been judged on their innovation, ambiance, presentation of food, hygiene standards and customer service.
Mitu Choudhury, secretary general - BCA, said: “BCA awards are tough competition and shine a light on great local curry houses serving wonderful food. These winners are creating some of the best curries in the country. Do support them."
