MUSICIANS are looking for on-going support for their community work.
The Astaria String Quartet visit places where live chamber music would not otherwise be played, to bring bring joy to people living in hospices, nursing homes and day centres.
Shulah Oliver, 37, violinist, said: “Music has a wonderful ability to take a person back in time and I’ve seen the expressions of people living with dementia come alive when we perform, painting a picture.
“For some, words can be confusing.”
