WHO doesn't love a good curry? Worcester News readers certainly do.

We asked you to name your favourite places in and around the city to go for a curry and more than 200 readers responded telling us why their best loved curry houses.

On the Worcester News Facebook page, Jane Whittall said that Anarkali, in the Tything is her favourite.

She said: "Anarkarli for us. We’ve been eating there for more than 12 years and never had a bad meal.

"The staff, especially Ali are always helpful and friendly and it’s great value."

Sara Jayne Clark said: "Massalla lounge 100 per cent.

"The staff are friendly and so welcoming, the food is lovely and they always make an effort to cater for everyone’s needs.

"You get sweets and ice cream at the end and also a cheeky shot of whiskey or Baileys to finish the night.

"Price is reasonable and the atmosphere is lovely."

Kate Wilkinson chose Ashley's, also in the Tything, saying: "Ashley's obviously.

"Amazing curry, never a bad experience, excellent service in house and being delivered.

"Courteous staff, always.

"Did I say their curry is amazing? 10/10."

Missy Nicki K said: "There's only one Bombay palace.

"Never had a bad meal there yet in over 13 years.

"The service is second to none.

"Friendly lovely staff, excellent food.

"Why else would so many keep returning years after year to eat here week in week out."
