FIRE: Plumes of smoke were seen when a derelict building in Malvern was on fire yesterday
A FIRE at a derelict building is being treated as arson.
Police are treating the fire at Malvern Technology Park, yesterday afternoon as arson (not endangering life.)
Four fire engines were dispatched to the St Andrews Road site at 4.58pm yesterday. People in the area were advised to not leave their homes for a time while firefighters tackled the blaze. Large plumes of smoke were reported by local people as well as a strong smell of smoke.
The fire was extinguished by 6.30pm.
