Leukaemia Care, a national blood cancer charity based in Worcester, are inviting man’s best friend (and their owners) to a dog walk on the Malvern Hills.
Working in partnership with the Malvern Hills Trust, and sponsored by Francis of Malvern, the walk is expected to be pawsitively brilliant following the success of the last two years.
The walk is on Sunday September 1, beginning at 12:00pm for a picnic and dog show before the walk itself commences at 1:30pm. The event is free and will start at the Link Common on Worcester Road, where participants can enter their furry friends into competitions for the chance to win an exciting range of prizes!
In addition, all participants will receive a goody bag courtesy of ‘Fish 4 Dogs’.
Prizes and categories include: ‘Waggiest’ Tail (best tail wagging) the prize will be a Hamper of baked goodies. This award is sponsored by: Magical Sweets and Treats, Malvern.
The prize for the‘Spottiest’ Dog, (natural or created for the event) is a ‘Natural Deli’ gift box. This is sponsored by Just for Pets.
The prize for best spotty costume (dog or walker) is a dog fancy dress costume. This competition is sponsored by Malvern Party and Balloons.
Costumes that restrict a dog’s full function or cause discomfort are not allowed.
