The charity's animal rehoming centre in Wildmoor Lane will be the venue for the event on Saturday, August 31.

A host of activities will be on offer from archery, go karting and juggling to drumming, dancing and refreshments.

The fundraiser runs from 12-4pm and admission is £2 adults and free for children under 14. The dog show is 50p per class and the first class starts at 1pm.

Neil Edwards, Bromsgrove Blue Cross manager, said: “We love hosting this annual event and seeing previous resident dogs we have rehomed enjoying their happy lives with their families.

"We are really grateful to everyone who is hosting an activity or providing refreshments, also to our fabulous team of volunteers who we really couldn’t be without.

"We hope to see a big turnout and that everyone has a fantastic day.”

Entertainment during the day includes Appalachian dancing, the Paws for Thought dog display team and music from Lee Springfield, Mitzy and Vintage 60s Club.

Fun dog show categories include dog most like his owner, dog with saddest eyes, waggiest tail and best child handler under 14 years. There are rosettes and prizes for all 1st-6th place winners.
