PARENTS are being invited to keep the whole family active with a special bandstand event, taking place this weekend.

On Saturday the bandstand in Church Green will be have demonstrations, activities and street theatre performances as the next event in the program encourages visitors to take part in and enjoy sports, dancing, games and activities suitable for all.

Jump Rope UK will be showing visitors the ropes and performing some amazing tricks, whilst Rubicon Leisure will be doing some live fitness demonstrations for guests to have a go at zumba and bodycombat.

There will also be a hula hoop demo, boxing display and karate demo from local providers.

‘Oddbod Extraordinaire’ Nat Lunatrick will be bringing his street theatre show and workshops to the bandstand with juggling, unicycling, rope-walking and magic to wow audiences with his amazing circus skills.

Visitors can also enjoy workshops, face painting, craft activities, bouncy castle and more.

The event will run from noon to 4pm.

Outdoor performances are subject to change/cancellation due to adverse weather conditions.

It is free to attend any of the bandstand events.
