CONCERNS over drug use, anti-social behaviour and other crime will top the agenda at an upcoming residents' meeting in Charford.

The meeting will take place at St Andrew's Church in Lyttleton Avenue on Thursday, August 1 at 7pm.

Representatives from the police and Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (BDHT) will be in attendance, as will local councillors.

Residents of Charford are invited to attend to ask questions and voice concerns on local issues.

Councillor Michael Thompson said: "One of my election pledges was to provide the people of Charford with a voice.

"The residents' meeting is one of the ways I hope to do this.

"Residents are already submitting questions about drugs, anti-social behaviour, speeding and various community projects they would like to see.

"I intend the meeting to be the first of many."
