A 21-year-old man told a judge he would 'commit suicide' after he was remanded in custody.

Kaine Coventry appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Monday over videolink from HMP Hewell.

Coventry, of no fixed address, faces charges of making threats to kill on June 8 this year and making threats to damage property on June 13 this year.

Coventry is expected to enter his pleas at a plea and case management hearing on July 17 although his advocate, Lee Masters, said he 'vehemently denied' all allegations against him.

Judge Robert Juckes QC remanded Coventry in custody until the next hearing.

At this point Coventry said: "I'm going to commit suicide."
