A MAN who threatened Asda staff with a syringe after stealing alcohol from the supermarket is being sought by police.

An appeal has been launched by police to speak to a man following a robbery at Asda in Pearson Street in Brierley Hill.

The robbery took place at 2.30pm on Monday June 17.

The man walked out of the supermarket with three bottles of spirits which he refused to pay for, before threatening staff with a syringe when they questioned him, a police spokesperson said.
