A candle holder similar to the one stolen from St Ambrose Church
A CANDLE holder with great sentimental value to parishioners has been stolen from a church in Kidderminster.
The stand, which has a donation boxed attached to it, was stolen from St Ambrose Church in Birmingham Road between 11.30am and 7pm on Monday (June 10).
PC Matthew Ling, of West Mercia Police, said: "We are looking for information from the public, they can contact the Greenhill Safer Neighbourhood Team, quoting incident reference 0641s 100619.
"It is possible the stand may have been disposed of close by, so can local residents check their gardens and bin areas for the stand.
"The stand is of great sentiment to the church and its parishioners."
