OUTSTANDING individuals, groups and organisations in Kidderminster will be recognised at the annual Community Awards this September.
Kidderminster Town Council will host the awards at the town hall on Thursday, September 19, with 16 categories open for nominations, including charity champions, teacher of the year, young achiever, dementia supporter, unsung hero and volunteer of the year.
Cllr David Ross, Mayor of Kidderminster, said: "These awards are open to every resident of Kidderminster and serve to recognise exceptional endeavour, whether in business, healthcare, the community or education.
"With a bumper number of awards, there will be even more opportunities to acknowledge and showcase the achievements of people within the town.”
The deadline for nominations is Friday, July 19. Forms can be completed online at kidderminstertowncouncil.gov.uk or by contacting the council offices at office@kidderminstertowncouncil.gov.uk or on 01562 732681.
