ARMED police descended on Netherton this morning after a brawl broke out, with one man reportedly wielding a sword.
Police received several 999 calls at around 10am this morning (June 9) reporting fighting in Cinder Bank, with reports of one man wielding a 'sword-like weapon'.
Police, including armed officers, arrived at the scene and detained six men.
One of the men was found to have cuts on his hands, but no-one was seriously hurt, a police spokesman said.
Police have confirmed that five of the men were later released and are helping police with their enquiries.
One man, aged 40-years-old, has been arrested on suspicion of affray.
