THE 9th annual Hopfest will bring live music, fun workshops and children's activities to Bewdley next weekend.

This year's festival, at Hopleys Family Camping Site, will see more local musicians performing across five stages over three days from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16.

Featured acts for Friday, running from 6pm to 11pm, include Arcadia Roots, Gork, Hey Jester, Izzy O'Dowd and Fall Out.

Saturday's line-up, from 12pm to 11pm, features Rattlesnake Jake, The Goat Roper Rodeo Band, Rouen, The Bug Club, The Mothership, One Tree Canyon, Cloe Mogg and more.

Black Country blues player Sunjay will be hosting a blues workshop and there will also be performances from Bewdley School and Kidderminster College students.

ABBA in Wonderland is the theme for this year, with a host of family-friendly themed activities running alongside a full programme of workshops, including African drumming, yoga, belly dancing, DJ mixing, choir singing and spray art sessions.

There will also be DJ and silent disco sets.

On Sunday, from 12pm to 8pm, BBC Hereford and Worcester Introducing will be recording five bands live on the main stage for broadcast during July.

Loose Lips will also be taking to the stage, and there will be performances from the Festival's Dub Band, a soul band from Baxter College, DJ sets from Hold Tight Collective, and open mic sessions throughout the day.

Food will be on sale, as well as a range of beers, ciders and soft drinks supplied by Bewdley Brewery.

There are still non-camping tickets available, priced at £47 for a family ticket online, or £55 on the day.
