The Riverside at Aymestrey has been named Herefordshire's best pub in the The National Pub & Bar Awards.
The Inn, housed in a 16th century black and white building, has a bar, restaurant and five bedrooms and is run by Chef Patron Andy Link.
It was voted the Visit England 'Best Tourism Pub 2018' and now goes through to the final of the
National Pub awards in May when regional winners and one overall winner will be chosen from the 94 county champions.
The Riverside bar and restaurant have been kept in a traditional style, with log fires, oak floors, candles, hops and oak beams, bricks and stone.
There is a terrace garden, a kitchen garden, and hand pulled real ales from Cleobury Mortimer and Stoke Lacey; with cider from Tenbury Wells and Leominster.
It is well known for local walks.
Other county winners in the region are: The Charlton Arms, Ludlow; Gloucestershire; The Fox & Hounds at Lulsley, between Bromyard and Worcester; The Felin Fach Griffin, between Hay and Brecon; The Anchor Inn, at Tintern; The Ebrington Arms, near Chipping Campden, Cotswolds.
