AN APPRENTICE from Heart of Worcestershire College has gone on to secure a full time role with the education provider.

Isobel Craig successfully completed a Business Administration apprenticeship at Heart of Worcestershire College , has gone on to secure a full time role as a Sales Support Administrator with the education provider.

Reflecting on her apprenticeship, Isobel said: “While undertaking my Business Administration apprenticeship I really enjoyed that I had the opportunity to work closely with other teams and departments.

"It gave me the chance to undertake other duties and experience a variety of job roles.

“I would definitely recommend an apprenticeship to other learners.

"I think it’s a great opportunity as not only do you gain a qualification at the end, you also get the workplace experience that you wouldn’t get if undertaking a full time course.”

HoW College have a dedicated apprenticeships department, Solutions, who provide learners with support and guidance from day one of their apprenticeship.

Explaining her decision to continue her journey with HoW College, Isobel commented:

“Since starting at the College I have enjoyed my time here, especially working within my team.

"Everyone has been very supportive with the development of my career.”

After securing the role as Sales Support Administrator, Isobel hopes to eventually progress on to a higher level role or even gain more experience within other departments to further expand her career opportunities.

This year the College also launched a range of new apprenticeship standards in response to local demand; including infrastructure technician, digital marketer, human resource support, and motor vehicle service and maintenance technician (light vehicle).
