A FRESH appeal has been launched to find a man who went missing in Malvern last year.

Matthew Bone was last seen in Callow End on Friday March 9, 2018 and with a year having passed since his disappearance, West Mercia Police and Mr Bone’s family, who live in Hampshire, have renewed their plea for information with a new CCTV image being released from the time of his disappearance.

The 27-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with brown hair and bluey/grey coloured eyes.

His sister Katie said: “We are glad the appeal has been renewed, and we hope that the fresh appeal can jog the memories of the people of Worcester and Malvern who may have seen him.

“It is reassuring that the search is still ongoing as it has been really difficult for us as a family being so far away from where he went missing.”

Detective Simon Lloyd from West Mercia Police said: “Our officers and Matthew’s family are increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"Matthew has not been seen for a considerable time now and we are urging anyone who may have any information about his whereabouts to come forward.

At this time we have no information to suggest Matthew left the Malvern area.”

Anyone who sees Matthew or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 410S of March 11 or confidentially call the Missing People Charity on 116 000.
