A SPATE of car vandalism has hit Kidderminster this month, with windows being smashed and items from inside stolen.

Unknown offenders broke into a car on Offmore Lane on the evening of Friday March 8 and stole a GPS device from inside.

Elsewhere, two youths targeted a Hyundai Trajet on Castle Road in the evening of Saturday March 9.

They shattered the car window and took an item from the vehicle before running towards Tesco along the canal.

Thieves targeted a car on Worcester Road in the early hours of Sunday March 10, smashing the passenger window and stealing a camera.

Sometime between 7pm on March 12 and 7am March 13, a securely parked car out side a property on Manor Avenue was broken into and a black leather Jasper Conran handbag with gold writing on it was stolen.

The bag contained a nude colour purse and driving licence.
