THE Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings, as Storm Gareth hits Worcestershire.
Forecasters say the storm will bring strong winds and heavy rain to the UK today and into tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Met Office's yellow "be aware" warnings for wind says there strong west to northwesterly winds, which could result in possible transport disruption.
The warning also says bus and train services could be affected, delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges is likely and a possible short term loss of power and of other services.
It also warns the storm will bring the risk of damage to buildings and flying debris.
The forecast this afternoon is for the rain to ease around 5pm, with it remaining dry this evening into tomorrow.
