WORCESTER Male Voice Choir will be performing at Cradley church on Sunday, March 3, in a St David's Day concert.
The choir has recently been given £1,000 by Worcester Heart Support Group to buy a defibrillator, and there are first-aiders in the choir who are trained to use the life-saving device.
A spokesman said: "Our upcoming concert at Cradley will be the first time we have this facility, and our audience should be happy that we are fully prepared. We will have no hesitation in stirring the emotions and aim to reach those high notes."
The choir will perform a selection of Welsh hymns and anthems, as well as other songs, and the concert will also feature harpist Shelley Fairplay.
The concert starts at 3pm and tickets (£15 including refreshments) are available from Cradley Butchers and the Red Lion or from 01886 880529/880402. Any profits will be shared between Cradley Church and Cradley Village Hall.
