LARGE quantities of cannabis were seized by police from properties in Stourport today (Friday).
Police executed a warrant at an address in Broach Road, supported by Western Power Distribution, and discovered two large organised grows of the Class B drug.
A spokesman for Wyre Forest Police said: “After a long day and a joint visit with Western Power to areas in Stourport today two large organised cannabis grows have been found.
“Large amounts of drugs seized, persons arrested, interviewed and investigations underway.
Thankfully large amounts of illegal drugs are now off the streets of Stourport.
”Thanks to the joint working of Western Power, SNT, patrol officers and Local Policing Priorities Team for everybody's involvement despite the dreadful weather.”
