The Employment Solicitor, based in Diglis Basin, Worcester, is a law firm with a difference from their stylish offices to the welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere.

The firm was set up in November 2015 by employment solicitor Helen Moore and graphic designer Alicia Hammersley-Fenton.

Helen, 43, became disillusioned by traditional law firms, having originally qualified in 2000, and decided to do something different.

She said: “The idea for a high end, niche employment law practice came about after myself and Alicia were involved in starting up and running a luxury confectionery business, Spun Candy.”

This experience fuelled their desire to establish a law firm set apart from more traditional firms with a key focus on excellence in customer service and brand.

“I felt there was an opportunity for a law firm that was focussed on customer service, we wanted to provide legal services in a much more human way with empathy a more human touch.

“We want people who are not just great lawyers but who will fall over themselves to help the customers.

"“Most law firms are name driven but we are heavily brand driven and the results speak for themselves.

“We have clients who come to us from all over the country which obviously shows we are doing the right things.”

The business continues to grow and has been recognised for its hard work and innovative approach.

This has been supported by the business receiving a number of short-listings for national legal awards including being highly commended for Excellence in Business Development in the 2018 national Law Society Awards.

Helen believes that helping people make the right choice is central to the business, and making time for customers is vital, adding: "When people come in we do what we can to make them feel at home.

"When they come into the office they really feel supported and that we genuinely care for them."
