KIDDERMINSTER supporters are divided on Colin Gordon's decision to take the manager's role at Aggborough.
Chairman Gordon has chosen to take to the dugout in the wake of Neil MacFarlane's departure earlier this week.
He will remain in the hotseat until the end of the current campaign with the help of senior players Jimmy O'Connor and Russ Penn.
Gordon insists the reason behind the decision is to give the club the time to find the right person for the job.
An online poll of our readers showed opinion remains divided among the club's supports, with those backing the decision just coming out on top.
The poll showed 56 per cent backed the chairman and felt it's more important to get the right man for the long-term.
Those believing the club should have moved quickly for a new manager due to their proximity to the National League North play-off places came out at 44 per cent.
Gordon will take charge of his first home game when the Reds host Boston this Saturday (3pm kick-off).
