HOMELESS people in Redditch are being offered emergency accomodation for a second night as temperatures continue to drop.
Radiate Redditch is alerting people that there will be emergency shelter for any homeless person tonight.
It comes after the Severe weather emergency protocol (SWEP) has been activated.
SWEP aims to get rough sleepers off the streets during periods of below zero night-time temperatures, by providing emergency accommodation.
A spokesman from Radiate Redditch said that emergency accommodation will be provided at the Salvation Army building on Ipsley Street.
"Please point rough sleepers in that direction," they said.
"If you wish to alert CCP (a homelessness prevention service) who operate the SWEP, to the existence and location of a rough sleeper you can do so by contacting Jayne on 07715 632088."
It comes amid warnings that the freezing weather is dangerous for homeless people.
Doors open at 9.30pm.
