POLICE are appealing for the public's help to find a missing 16-year-old teen with autism, who has connections to the Clent, Stourbridge and Kidderminster areas.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of Charlie Dann, from Clent, who was last seen at Laser Quest in Amblecote in the early hours of today (Friday, December 7), wearing a burgundy tracksuit and black slip-on pumps.

Charlie is described as a white male, of medium build, 5ft 7in tall with short ginger hair and a beard.

He has links to the Stourbridge, Kidderminster and Camden areas, although officers say he could be anywhere in the country.

A missing persons poster being handed out to rail passengers this afternoon reads: "Charlie is [a] very vulnerable young man although may not appear to be when you first meet him.

"Charlie is known to abscond when feeling anxious.

"He is road aware and knows how to access trains. He may give a false name and will create a story.

"He will try to convince people that he has to get to a destination to see a friend who is ill.

"Charlie will hit out at staff to immobilise them so he can get away from them.

"Charlie has been known to open the windows and doors of cars in order to abscond."

Anyone with information on Charlie's whereabouts is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 21s.
