Fire crews called out to firework blazes in Pershore and Droitwich
FIRE fighters responded to two reports of fires caused by stray fireworks on Saturday evening.
At 6.34pm, a crew from Pershore was called to the town's Abbey Park after a firework hit a tree and set it alight.
The crew used a water hose and a triple extension ladder to deal with it.
And at 7.16pm, the Droitwich crew was called out to extinguish a fir involving involving conifer trees and fencing caused by firework in Dovecote Road.
