BILL Reynolds who is living with Dementia at Hagley Place has always been a huge fan of motorbikes and owned at least 50 of them before he moved into the care home in Ludlow.
He used to collect and restore the bikes at his home but had to leave them behind when he moved due to his increasingly poor health.
While staff at the home couldn’t bring his own bikes to him, Michelle Jones, Activity Coordinator, contacted Julian Wild of the SSMC bike club and organised a surprise visit for Bill.
Staff first found out about Bill’s motorbike collection a month after he moved in and Michelle Jones has been thinking of a way for him to fulfil his dream of being around motorbikes. and
The bike club was happy to help Bill to have a great day.
