A WYRE Forest support group are set to get people rocking by offering a new music session.

Bewdley day service Reach, who provide support and opportunities for individuals with learning difficulties, disabilities and mental health needs, will start their ‘Rock ‘n Pop School’ at the ‘Teach Me Music Academy’ on Worcester Street, Kidderminster this November.

Musicians in the making will have the experience to play different instruments and learn about sounds and rhythm with the help of specialist guitar and drum tutor Jarrad Lambie.

The sessions will also allow attendants to perform as part of a new musical groups The Rock-its.

The Rock ‘n Pop School will run on the first Saturday of each month starting in November, from 10am to 12pm, and will cost £10 per session.

Reach run their daily service from Monday to Friday 9.15am to 3.15pm, where we offer full and half day sessions which aim to build individuals' confidence and life-skills.

Reach have also been running a monthly Reach for the Stars Disco at St. Ambrose Parish Hall in Kidderminster to get individuals singing and dancing with friends.
