A HALESOWEN woman is fundraising for a charity that provided her with precious keepsakes when her daughter was born sleeping.

Tammy Jones is hosting an coffee and cake morning at The Hunting Tree pub in Alexandra Road between 10am and 1pm on Saturday, October 13.

There will also be face painting, a raffle, tombola, stalls and an arts and crafts table for children.

She will be raising funds for 4Louis, a charity that provides bereaved parents with a memory box.

Tammy received a box when her daughter Mia was stillborn in December 2016.

"I didn't leave hospital with my daughter, I left with the box containing her foot prints and a book that we read to her called 'Guess How Much I Love You' and other sentimental bits.

"This is about giving something back and the money raised will be for memory boxes provided to Russells Hall Hospital in memory of Mia."
