IF you’re drivin’ along in your automobile, as Chuck Berry famously put it, or even just strolling, the Huntingdon Hall’s the place to get to this Saturday, October 6, providing you love rock ‘n’ roll.

And three decades of music, from the 50s to the 70s, will be guaranteed to raise the roof.

The popular local band The Pontiacs, all of whom live in Malvern, will be appearing at Huntingdon Hall for the sixth time in their illustrious and toe-tapping career.

In fact it’s time to “Rock ‘n’ Reminisce”.

A spokesman said: “Audiences are guaranteed a rockin’ good time!

“Regular band members Dave Roberts (lead singer and rhythm guitar), Richard Tandy (lead guitar, keyboards and vocals), Stefan Agopsowicz (double bass, bass guitar and vocals) and Keith Parks (rhythm guitar and vocals) will be accompanied by recent newcomer to the band, world class drummer James Elliot Williams.”

The spokesman added: “Hosted by well-known local promoter John Banner, be prepared for all of your favourite hits from the fifties, sixties and seventies – all of which are guaranteed to make you want to get up and dance.”

Such great sounds might make you want to get up and dance.

And the spokesman said: “”And you’ll be in luck, since all of the loose chairs in front of the stage will be removed to create a dance area.

“So grab your dancing shows and head to Huntingdon Hall for a Rock ‘n’ Reminisce with The Pontiacs, as they get you All Shook Up and doing the Hippy Hippy Shake… Miss them and miss out!”

The show takes place on Saturday from 7.30pm. For tickets, call the box office on 01905 611427 or go to worcesterlive.co.uk
