A SIXTY-year-old woman was taken to hospital after a crash between a lorry and a car near Cradley.
The crash happened on the B4220, near Bosbury Turn just before 11am this morning (Thursday, September 27).
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said the car had “significant front end damage” and that air bags had been activated in the smash.
The woman, a passenger, was released from her vehicle by firefighters, suffered leg pain follow the crash, thought to be due to a fracture.
She was taken to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
The car driver, a woman aged 43, was out of the vehicle on arrival.
Paramedics said she had “some pain” which was unlikely to be muscular. She was discharged at the scene.
Scene safety checks were carried out by West Mercia Police.
Hereford Highways attended the scene to clean the road due to oil contamination.
The A4103 was closed for about three hours and reopened at about 3pm.
