AN AWARDS ceremony will celebrate the next generation of businesses.

The Campden Business Forum launched the 2018 Business and Student Awards this month.

Now in its seventh year, the awards are sponsored again this year by Concierge Medical, and are a becoming a major date in the local business calendar. Last year saw a record number of very high quality entries, and it is hoped that it will be equally well-supported this year.

An important part of this programme (and what sets it apart from many other similar events) is the Student Awards. Here the next generation of entrepreneurs are celebrated.

As in previous years the Campden Business Forum is working in partnership with Chipping Campden School to identify and recognise those local students who have successfully built and run businesses over the last twelve months.

Entries for the Business Awards can be submitted from Monday, September 24 and the closing date is Sunday, November 4.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony which will be held on Thursday, November 29 at the Cotswold House Hotel at 6.30pm.

This year there will be four awards for business and two awards for students. The awards are;

Best Consumer Business.

Best B2B Business.

Best Customer Service (individual or business).

Best Developments and Initiatives.

Best Student Business (years 7,8,9).

Best Student Business (years 10,11,12).

In addition to the business and student awards, the Community award will be given to the charity or group that has done the most to help the local community.

Last year Campden Home Nursing won the inaugural community award, and the Campden Business Forum is seeking nominations for this year’s prize.
