MALVERN Safer Neighbourhood Teams will be out patrolling the retail shopping areas of Malvern and Upton in a bid to combat shop theft and car crime.
Teams of uniformed and plain clothes officers will be patrolling the shopping and parking areas of the town on a daily basis, over the next few days.
West Mercia Police say the patrols are part of Operation Blast, dealing with shop theft, and Operation Falcon, combating car crime.
Police always advise to not leave purchases or valuables on show in the car, lock the car and set the alarm when leaving a vehicle, and not to leave it unlocked when taking a trolley back.
Anyone who sees anything suspicious can report this to the police by calling 101, quoting either operation.
