STAFF at a Malvern supermarket donned festive fancy dress to celebrate a £30,000 revamp at their store.

The new look at the Londis supermarket in Upper Howsell Road was officially unveiled to customers on Friday, December 16.

As well as being greeted by the staff in their colourful costumes, shoppers were able to enjoy a range of tastings and competitions over the weekend.

Owner Derek Cooke is delighted with the store’s more modern new look.

“I’ve been here for 30 years now and seen customers grow from seven-year-olds buying sweets into parents buying baby food. It’s great that we know our customers and we’re always here with a smile and friendly chat,” he said.
