THE snow forecast for last night and early this morning didn't hit Worcestershire as hard as expected but another cold one is expected tonight bringing a risk of icy conditions tomorrow (Saturday, December 17).
The Met Office predicts clear skies tonight with driving road surface temperatures dropping quickly down to -5.
Showers of rain, which could fall as sleet on higher ground are also forecast this evening. Gritters will once again be out across all designated roads.
Motorists are being asked to drive with caution and never assume that just because a road has been gritted it's safe to travel at normal speeds.
For more information about gritting operations visit worcestershire.gov.uk/gritting Gritter Twitter will continue to be updated with details on what gritting teams are doing to make things safer on the roads and safety advice.
