YOUNGSTERS at Hanley Swan Pre-school dressed up in authentic costumes as they celebrated Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.
During the event on Friday (October 21) they also tasted Indian cuisine including naan breads, poppadoms and chutneys and made clay tea light holders known as divas.
The pre-school is a registered charity and takes children from two years up to school age. Free stay and play sessions are held every Friday from 9-10am.
