MALVERN Male Voice Choir will be celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2012, and is looking for new members to make it a year to remember.
On Saturday, October 29, the choir is holding an open event at Lyttelton Well, Church Street, between 1.30pm and 5pm, performing and rehearsing both inside and outside the hall.
There will be the chance for passers-by to talk to choir members and sample the kind of music they sing, and anyone who wants to join in will be made very welcome. Tea and cake will be available.
Musical director Charles Pavey said: "We welcome anyone who harbours a passion to sing, whether they are expert, novice or somewhere in between.
"We are looking for enthusiasm, commitment and, importantly, a sense of fun.”
