A FUNDRAISING dinner held by Malvern Friends of ChildLine on Sunday, October 16, was a great success, say organisers.
The event was held at Cafe Zam Zam in Church Street and raised £586 for ChildLine.
Colin Butler of Malvern Friends of ChildLine said: "We filled the restaurant twice for early and late sittings and it was a very lively and successful evening during which we remembered the first 25 years of ChildLine.
"Our next event will be the charity fair at York Hall, Malvern St James, on Saturday, November 19, when we will be selling books and running a Christmas bran tub for children. If any readers are interested in helping us to fundraise, they can call Malvern Friends of ChildLine on 01684 586385.
