MALVERN-based construction firm Speller Metcalfe has raised more than £1,400 for forces charity Help for Heroes.
The money was raised after two site teams working at a school in Bromsgrove decided to have a sunflower growing competition.
Steve Speller, joint managing director of Speller Metcalfe, said: “We always love to help both local and national charities, and the sunflower competition was a fantastic way of raising the profile of Help for Heroes locally. I would like to say a big thank-you to all of those involved, particularly the sponsors.”
Speller Metcalfe will be matching the sponsorship funds raised. To make a donation visit bmycharity.com/spellermetcalfe/donations/1.
