PLANS for Malvern Town Council to take over Rose Bank Gardens and transform it into a showcase are set to move two steps closer to reality next week.
On Tuesday, October 25, Malvern Hills District Council's executive committee is being asked to approve transferring the gardens to the town council.
And the next day, the town council's policy and resources committee is being recommended to agree in principle to the takeover.
The proposal is that the town council takes over the gardens on a 99-year lease for a peppercorn rent, with the aim of transforming them into a major attraction for the town.
