MALVERN Civic Society has been given a special award in recognition of its organisation of the Civic Week earlier this year.
The award was made on Saturday, October 15, by Civic Voice, the national association of civic societies, at its convention and annual general meeting held in Sheffield.
Tony Burton, director of Civic Voice, said: "Malvern Civic Society organised more events for Civic Week than any other group in the country, and this award is in recognition of all the hard work they put in."
