SHAKESPEARE came to St Joseph's Primary School when the school staged an adaptation of his classic play Macbeth.
The adaptation, specially made for primary school performers, included all the familiar elements of the Scottish play, including the witches, Birnam Wood and some genuine Shakespearean quotes, but added other ingredients, including songs.
Linda Bowen of the school said: "They performed it in front of staff and pupils on Friday [February 11] and everyone enjoyed it."
