THE annual Hanley Swan Village Quiz was a big success, raising a grand total of £1,325.
Half of this money was donated by Barclays Bank under its ‘pound for pound’ scheme. The funds will be put towards the maintenance of Hanley Swan churchyard.
Organiser John Boardman said: “This event is becoming so popular that we had to disappoint some teams as the village hall was full to capacity.”
