A CAR caught fire on the main Malvern-Worcester road on Monday afternoon, December 20.
The call came to the fire brigade at 4.26pm, and a fire engine from Malvern was sent to the scene, on the dual-carriageway section of the A449.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus put out the fire with a hose reel. No-one had to be rescued from inside the car and no-one was injured.
