Malvern Hills District Council's Refuse and Recycling teams are struggling to reach a number of properties - particularly those in more rural areas - will have been missed due to vehicles being unable to reach them.
With the snow and ice predicted to remain until Christmas, the council is now advising residents, whose sacks have not been collected on their regular collection day, to take the sacks back in until their next collection day.
The Refuse and Recycling teams are working across the bank holiday and so will be collecting as per normal on Monday 27th and Tuesday the 28th December. To catch up on the backlog they will be collecting double sacks on rounds.
The council would like to thank residents for their continued understanding and patience.
