CHILDREN at Hanley Swan Primary School took a step back in time to find out about life in Tudor England.
Dressing up in Tudor-style clothes the youngsters spent a day making their own history by building a scaled down replica of a Tudor house in the school hall.
The 1/3 scale Tudor House, big enough for 30 children to sit in, was built by the children themselves with the help of Charlie Lupton, an interactive leader who visited the school to help the children learn about life in Tudor times through hands-on activities.
This ‘Make Your Own History’ experience followed a previous interactive history day at Hanley Swan when the children worked together to build a replica of a Viking longship.
