WITNESSES to a road accident on the Wells Road involving a pack of fox hounds at the end of last month are asked to contact a film-maker interested in such incidents.
The accident on the Wells Road, between Malvern Wells and British Camp, happened on November 27 and left one of the hounds dead. It happened in the morning around the time people were driving to work and taking children to school.
Four people reported the incident to the police and Denise Ward would like to talk to them.
Denise made a film called A Minority Pastime which features areas of countryside around Malvern used by local hunts.
The film highlights what happens when hunts enter private land and gardens causing damage, killing domestic pets and frightening householders. Denise is also interested in the welfare of fox hounds, saying many hounds are killed or injured on roads and railway lines during hunts.
“I’m up-dating my film and I am trying to find out more about the incident on the Wells Road when the hounds ran out on to the road into the traffic,” explained Denise.
Witnesses to the Wells Road incident can contact Denise on 07811 548328.
A trailer for A Minority Past-time is available on YouTube and the full film can be viewed on the website www.aminoritypastime.net
