MALVERN Town Council has backed the district council's Route To The Hills plan to develop access between Great Malvern railway station and the hills.
At a meeting on Tuesday (December 14) town councillors heard a presentation of the project from Manda Graham of MHDC.
She explained that the project envisaged a 25-year strategy for developing public open spaces on the route from the station to the hills, including Priory Park and Rosebank Gardens.
Councillors agrees to endorse the aims of the strategy, and to appoint two members to its steering group. Councillors Pat Mewton and Darren Zolman volunteered to represent the town council.
